Literature Text

We may not always be.
The way we're s'pose to be.
But that's just how it goes.
Nobody's perfect.
We all have got our flaws.
We're all afraid to pause.
And think about our actions.
And who they're hurting.

We need to stand up now.
And see for ourselves.
The ashes of the bridges that we've burned.
A second chance could be,
Just what we need,
To understand forgiveness at its core. [Chorus]

We all have got our problems,
And no one's there to solve them.
So we continue to live life
For only ourselves.
We need to notice the light,
And understand and do what's right.
Forgive and be forgiven
For all of our sins.

(Chorus)
So let the truth be seen,
And know just what it means,
To truly love your neighbor as yourself.

Things would be much better,
If we'd understand together,
That we're only human, we're not perfect.
Patience, joy, and kindness,
Are the principles of happiness,
So we all need to understand these things.

(Chours)
So open up your eyes,
And see through the lies,
And open up your heart to everyone.
You'll let the truth be seen,
To know just what it means,
To truly love your neighbor as yourself
So... this is the first of my songs I've decided to put up here. I suppose... if you want to hear it, I uploaded to youtube. It was an early take, and I was never truly happy with it, but it's the only one I've managed to get so far. XD Here's the link...

That's so cool! :D  I didn't know you could play the guitar so well.  My older sister was in the room and she looked over my shoulder and asked me who was playing.  =P Apparently she liked it.  Do you make up the tune yourself?
I've always secretly wanted to sing and record the songs I make up, but I think all kinds of musical instruments must be allergic to me, because they tend to break out in awful noises whenever I so much as touch them.
